About Galemain

Galemain Engineering Services Limited was founded in 1979 with the objective of providing an efficient, nationwide service to industry, specialising in the installation of mechanical handling equipment.

The company saw the need for improvement on the image of on-site contractors and this was achieved with the provision of fully equipped modern company vehicles complete with lifting equipment, mobile welding equipment, and access equipment etc. We could turn up on site completely self sufficient, therefore minimising any inconvenience to the customer, this enabled contracts to be carried out in a thoroughly professional manner, gaining the company an enviable reputation with its competitors and respect from its customers.

Galemain has steadily expanded over the years, and presently runs fifteen service vehicles and operates with up to 40 employees During this expansion period, a design, drawing and fabrication facility has evolved.

In 2014, Galemain successfully achieved CE Accreditation to BS EN 1090-1 for the manufacture of structural steelwork in accordance with the Construction Products Directive and the UK's Construction Products Regulations. Galemain can now manufacture structural steelwork up to Execution Class 2 (EXC2).

This supports Galemain's ongoing Quality Management System to ISO 9001 which was awarded and is continually assessed by the UKAS accredited certification body TUV UK Limited.
